Our Timekeeping Analyst is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement by identifying the root cause of timesheet issues through analytics. This role is a key position that will lead to a successful payroll process, eliminate employee miss pays and provide accurate and timely information for billing.


  • Reconcile call logs and timesheet differences
  • Solves timesheet issues by using analytics to drive root cause analysis and provides the Payroll Manager results
  • Delivers the Payroll Manager continuous improvement plans by employing process improvement methodologies and identifying trends
  • Identifies and eliminates unnecessary complexity within the timekeeping process
  • Adheres to strict payroll deadlines
  • Works as liaison between various departments regarding their payroll needs
  • Ensures employee timesheets are accurate and complete
  • Tracks and resolves employee timesheet issues on a weekly basis
  • Assist employees with incorrect or miss pays
  • Provides training for new hire orientation
  • Understands payroll allocations and job costing
  • Runs payroll report for Department Managers as needed
  • Collaborates with Support to resolve timesheet issues
  • In conjunction with the Payroll Manager, maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
  • Assists in HRIS/Payroll Conversion

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate‚Äôs degree and 2 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, attention to detail, excel and computer skills required
  • Experience using Time and Attendance modules within HRIS/Payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Kronos, or other timekeeping systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Power BI experience is preferred
  • Prior implementation of a new HRIS/Payroll system preferred
