The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management in supporting the BroadPath organization. The HR Coordinator carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, HR training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.


  • Explains HR Policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees
  • Prepare and update employment records in relation to hires transfers, promotions and terminations
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Handles employee relations issues, complaints and allegations
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Provides back up support for benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees
  • Maintains records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience as an HR Specialist/Coordinator
  • Expertise in FMLA and ADA law
  • Experience with employee relations
  • MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
