BroadPath is hiring a VoIP Telephony Administrator to work remotely. The role of the VoIP Telephony Administrator is to ensure the availability and integrity of the Voice Network, and to consult with project management clients, network peers, and vendors to address voice outages and vulnerabilities. Successful candidates will possess the ability to maintain and configure multiple PBX environments, along with excellent knowledge of ACD and contact centers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and integrity of the Voice Network
  • Provide support for ACD, and PBX, importing/managing Users, Agent, Queue’s and skills
  • Consult with project management clients, network peers, and vendors to address voice outages and vulnerabilities
  • Receive, analyze, monitor, and resolve voice network problems
  • Troubleshoot remote problems, with clients and customers
  • Perform voice network resources administration and maintenance along with voice network equipment installation, as needed
  • Analyze network failures, isolate and repair or re-route network problems, in a timely manner
  • Perform packet capture & analysis via tools like Wireshark. Assist in maintaining system databases, i.e., circuit inventory, toll free number, and configuration records, etc. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Voice-related certification l - Avaya, Communication Manager, System/Session Managers, AES, CMS, SIP, Verint Recording Platform, AudioCodes
  • Strong working knowledge of various cloud platform VoIP solutions
  • Network-related certification (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, etc)
  • Experience and troubleshooting call routing, voice quality and network related issues
  • Expertise in ACD and contact centers, including Five9, Genesys PureCloud, Avaya and Cisco Call Manager
  • Ability to maintain and configure multiple PBX environments, including Five9, Genesys PureCloud
  • Good working knowledge of AudioCodes SBCs and understanding of SIP messaging
  • Understanding of VoIP Call Negotiation and Voice Codecs including voice codecs G.711U/G.711A, G.729, G.722, H.323
  • Strong working knowledge of TCP, UDP, VoIP, SIP, SBC’s
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco/Juniper switches and routers
  • Strong working knowledge of Switching and routing protocols
  • Understanding of ITIL guidelines
  • Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline or equivalent of relevant voice platform experience
